PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v KENT (NDL KOC)

MILDENHALL take a two-point lead into the second leg of their NDL Knockout Cup semi-final against Kent at West Row today (Sunday).

The Fen Tigers were 46-44 winners at Iwade last week and now look to complete the job, with the Royals looking to turn the tie around on their second visit to the Suffolk venue this season.

Both teams are at full strength with home skipper Lee Complin returning after missing the first leg due to commitments for Glasgow.

Fen Tigers manager Jason Gardner said: “We can expect Kent to be stronger than their last visit and so aren’t taking anything for granted.

“Our riders have all cause to be satisfied by how their season has started and we expect to kick on from our impressive performances so far, and with the backing again of a large and enthusiastic West Row crowd we aim to get the job done.”

Kent boss Jamie Willis said: “Although we are heading into the meeting trying to overturn a two-point deficit, I believe that with a full-strength team we are more than capable of doing so.”

MILDENHALL: Alfie Bowtell, Josh Warren, Ben Trigger, George Congreve, Lee Complin, William Richardson, Arran Butcher.
KENT: Ben Morley, Rhys Naylor, Tom Woolley, Joe Alcock, Nathan Ablitt, Sam Wolley, Connor King.
