PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v BELLE VUE (NDL)
MILDENHALL meet Belle Vue at West Row in a clash between two of the top three in the NDL table today (Sunday).
The Fen Tigers are looking to complete a winning weekend after their success at Workington on Saturday, whilst the Colts are racing for the second time in two days having lost out at Leicester.
The aggregate point is also up for grabs with Belle Vue making the trip to Suffolk holding a 14-point advantage from the recent meeting between the sides in Manchester and including three former Mildenhall riders – Sam Hagon, Matt Marson and Luke Muff.
Mildenhall boss Jason Gardner said: “It’ll be very important to get off to a good start on Sunday when chasing down the total. The change in the racing order will be advantageous for us, I think.”
Colts co-boss Steve Williams said: “Mildenhall will be another challenging meeting. They are back to full strength but we have a very good record around West Row and a lot of our boys love to race there.
“We have put ourselves in an excellent position for the aggregate point after our home win against the Fen Tigers, but we’re not going there targeting anything less than the full haul.”
MILDENHALL: Alfie Bowtell, Arran Butcher, Ben Trigger, George Congreve, Lee Complin, William Richardson, Josh Warren.
BELLE VUE: Sam Hagon, Matt Marson, Jack Smith, Freddy Hodder, James Pearson, Paul Bowen, Luke Muff.
