PREVIEW: MILDENHALL v BELLE VUE (NDL)

MILDENHALL look to put pressure on the NDL play-off places when they face Belle Vue at West Row today (Sunday).

The Fen Tigers bring in Lee Complin to guest for the injured James Shanes and operate rider replacement for Matt Marson, and a win would take them level with the Colts if they prevent the visitors from scoring.

The Manchester side are without both Nathan Ablitt and Harry McGurk, who picked up knocks in Thursday’s British U19 Final, with Tom Woolley coming in to guest for McGurk, and rider replacement operates for Ablitt.

Fen Tigers reserve Luke Muff said: “We are going into the match full of confidence and having lost recently up at Belle Vue we want to make sure they are going to get it at our place, and it’ll taste sweet if we can achieve a revenge win.”

Colts co-boss Steve Williams said: “Obviously it’s a blow to lose both Harry and Nathan. They had a bit of a coming-together in the British U19 Final and unfortunately picked up injuries between them.

“Thankfully it’s nothing serious or long-term, but on the advice of doctors it’s in their best interest not to race, and we do respect that.

“But we’re confident the rest of the boys can pick up the slack, and we’re grateful to Tom Woolley for stepping in to help us out at West Row.”

MILDENHALL: Jason Edwards, Matt Marson R/R, Sam Bebee, Jack Kingston, Lee Complin, Josh Warren, Luke Muff.
BELLE VUE: Jack Smith, Sam McGurk, Nathan Ablitt R/R, Jake Mulford, Tom Woolley, Archie Freeman, Freddy Hodder.
