PREVIEW: KENT v LEICESTER (NDL)

KENT host champions Leicester in the NDL at Iwade today (Sunday) with the visitors having an opportunity to close in on top spot.

The Lion Cubs are currently fourth on 11 points, four behind leaders Mildenhall, and an away win would also give them the aggregate point as they lead 56-34 from the reverse fixture.

The Royals are seventh at the halfway stage of their season, although five of their remaining seven fixtures are at home.

Both sides use rider replacement with Jack Kingston and Joe Thompson on the sidelines, whilst Leicester also bring in Josh Warren to guest for the injured Tom Spencer.

Lion Cubs boss Dave Howard said: “It was really key that we got the away win at Edinburgh a few weeks ago and it’s key that we get more away wins.

“It’s so important with only the top two going into the Grand Final and not the top four, so we’ll definitely be looking to push as hard as we can when we go to Kent.”

KENT: Ben Morley, Jack Kingston R/R, Connor King, Tom Woolley, Nathan Ablitt, Rhys Naylor, Sam Woolley, Ashton Vale (no.8).
LEICESTER: Dan Thompson, Ashton Boughen, Max Perry, Josh Warren, Joe Thompson r/r, Vinnie Foord, Max James.
