PREVIEW: BERWICK v ARMADALE (NDL)

BERWICK are leading the way with the first league meeting in Britain since 2019 on Saturday.

They face Armadale in their opening National Development League fixture with both teams newcomers to the third tier this season.

The meeting will be held behind closed doors as fans are not permitted back into sporting venues just yet and the club have confirmed details of a live stream for viewers everywhere to tune in.

Berwick Bullets include talented local rider Leon Flint who can’t wait to head into competitive racing.

And Flint has paid tribute to some established international stars who offered help and advice at a recent practice session at Leicester.

He said: “There were experienced guys there like Troy Batchelor, Sam Masters and Danny King to name a few.

“They were very generous with their time and gave me advice that I think will help as I progress, something they didn’t have to do as they have their own preparations to think about.

“I’m looking forward to getting back to some competitive racing.”
