PREVIEW: BELLE VUE v KENT (NDL)

BELLE Vue Colts skipper Ben Woodhull returns to action in tonight’s (Friday) NDL home clash with Kent.

Woodhull crashed out at Armadale last month but is fit to resume, whilst Sam Woolley again stands in for the injured Sam McGurk.

Kelsey Dugard makes his debut for the Royals and Alex Spooner appears for the first time this season after they replaced Jamie Couzins and Rob Ledwith respectively.

High-scoring Colts reserve Harry McGurk said: “Sam is a big performer at the National Speedway Stadium and he will be missed, but all of the lads know their way around our place and we’re very comfortable at home.

“There are people who don’t think we have much of a home advantage because the track is so fair, but I think over the years we’ve proved we have developed a huge home advantage.

“There’s quite a few in the Kent team who are a bit of a question mark here so we need to be on our guard, but at the same time I’m quietly confident we can target the win.”

BELLE VUE: Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, Ben Woodhull, Benji Compton, Paul Bowen, Connor Coles, Sam Woolley, Harry McGurk.
KENT: Ryan Kinsley, Jacob Clouting, Dan Gilkes, Kelsey Dugard, Alex Spooner, Josh Warren, Jake Mulford.
