PHILLIPS JOINS BULLETS

BERWICK asset Danny Phillips will race for the club’s National Development League side this season – four years after joining the club!

Phillips was signed from neighbours Newcastle in 2019 and made appearances for the senior Bandits side as No.8, with his recent NDL campaigns being spent with Belle Vue and then Armadale.

Bullets boss Gary Flint said: “Danny is vastly experienced at both Championship and NDL level but still has youth on his side.

“His work ethic and desire to battle to the very end are qualities that will make having Danny Phillips on our side of the pits a very positive experience. 

“We will be working closely with all of our team to help them achieve their goals in 2023 and see Danny being an instrumental part of the side and capable of maintaining a solid heat leader status.”

The Bullets have also confirmed Mason Watson will return this season, meaning they have four riders confirmed for 2023 so far.
