KINSLEY PLUGS CHARGERS GAP

OXFORD have swooped for Ryan Kinsley as a new signing ahead of their National Development League opener against Leicester.

Kinsley joins the Chargers as a replacement for the injured Nathan Stoneman and will make his Chargers debut when they face the reigning champions at Cowley on Wednesday (May 10).

Manager Peter Schroeck said: “We’re really pleased to have Ryan on board this year.

“Replacing a rider of Nathan’s talent wasn’t going to be easy and it was a big blow when we learnt he’d be out for a long period of time with his shoulder injury.

“But Ryan is more than capable at this level and as a team we’ll work with him to get him dialled into the Sandy Lane circuit quickly.”
