CUBS MOVE FOR COLES

LEICESTER have signed Connor Coles as their first confirmed starter for next year’s National Development League campaign.

Coles joins the Lion Cubs after spending the 2021 season with Belle Vue, where he averaged 6.04 – a figure the East Midlands side believe he will improve upon.

Team boss Dave Howard said: “It is a delight to welcome Connor to the Lion Cubs. His riding and scoring ability together with his great personality makes him a really positive addition to the team in all aspects.

“That includes strengthening the team further at the top end as we set the aim of challenging for honours.”
