WRIGHT SETS TESTIMONIAL DATE

REDCAR skipper Charles Wright will stage his Testimonial meeting at the ECCO Arena on Sunday March 17.

The 2019 British Champion, who will also line up for Oxford Spires in the Premiership next year, is planning a 16-rider Individual event to kick off his seventh season with the Teesside club.

Wright said: “With the Championship fixtures now released, I’m really excited to confirm the date and venue for my Testimonial meeting next year. 

“The hard work has already started to make this a fun and exciting day of racing. A few things are already in place, and I’m already looking forward to it.

“I’d like to thank BSP for granting me a Testimonial in 2024, and the management and promotion team at Redcar for their support in bringing my meeting to the ECCO Arena.”

Dates have also been set for two Testimonials at Poole next season, with Kyle Newman’s benefit meeting kicking off proceedings at Wimborne Road on Wednesday March 20, whilst Richard Lawson will stage his event on Sunday September 1.
