WITCHES REMEMBER TIGER

IPSWICH will round off the season with a special meeting featuring a host of talented youngsters competing in the Tiger’s Academy Open.

The event takes place on Thursday October 16, named in honour for former rider and promoter John ‘Tiger’ Louis, with the best of the British Youth and emerging stars battling for individual and pairs honours.

The hugely successful Great Britain Speedway Team will be represented to make a presentation to the riders ahead of the event with help and advice on their career progression.

Promoter Chris Louis said: “The chance to be hands on in the pits with experienced riders is a golden opportunity and something that I am sure they will all gain from.

“It’s great to be able to put dad’s name to something so worthwhile and that I know he would whole heartedly support, I can’t wait.

“I know that he would raise a smile when the youngsters roll out and do battle on the night.”
