TODD’S LOST SEASON

TESTIMONIAL man Todd Kurtz has revealed how 2020 was due to be his last season in racing.

Kurtz will bring the curtain down on his career at Sheffield next Thursday, March 24, with a star-studded field including former World Champions Chris Holder and Jason Doyle.

Kurtz said: “I was looking forward to the season and making it a good one to go out on. But then Covid came along and ruined it all for us.

“It was a great team Sheffield put together, which is why I was devastated when the season got cancelled.

“I just feel the time is right to go. I’ve enjoyed my time as a rider, but I need to look more to the future now.

“I really hope to finish with a great night next Thursday. I’m fortunate to have a bunch of mates who are pretty good at riding motorbikes, and they’ve agreed to come along and ride for me.”
