REMEMBERING RICO
MAY 13 marks ten years since the tragic loss of Great Britain star Lee Richardson in a track crash in Wroclaw.
Lee enjoyed a stellar career headlined by his World Under-21 Championship triumph in 1999, before finishing third in the 2004 British Grand Prix and second in the 2005 Polish Grand Prix at Bydgoszcz.
He was also an outstanding performer for GB in World Cup competition, scoring 204 points in 18 events including a 19-point individual total in Event 2 of the 2003 competition.
Domestically Lee started his career in 1995 with Reading and also enjoyed spells with Poole, Coventry, Peterborough, Swindon, Eastbourne and Lakeside.
Our thoughts remain with Emma, their three children and all of the family, and especially so on this anniversary date.
