RAIN STRIKES AGAIN!

THE wet weather continues to create chaos during the opening weeks of the 2021 British Speedway season.

After a first week of stop-start action because of rain, racing was further halted as we enter a second week with both of Monday’s scheduled Premiership fixtures washed out.

Also an early decision has been taken to postpone both of Tuesday’s Championship KO Cup matches at Kent and Plymouth.

Fortunately better weather is forecast for later this week and it also looks a lot brighter for the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend.

MONDAY MAY 24:

PREMIERSHIP
Peterborough v Sheffield – OFF

Wolverhampton v Belle Vue – OFF
Re-staging date: Monday July 26 (provisional)

TUESDAY MAY 25:

CHAMPIONSHIP KO CUP 1st leg
Kent v Eastbourne – OFF
Re-staging date: Tuesday July 6

Plymouth v Poole – OFF
