PREVIEW: SAM’S MONARCHS v RICHIE’S DEVILS, Edinburgh

EDINBURGH will build-up to their Championship campaign with a special Challenge match at Armadale tonight (Friday).

All of the club’s senior and NDL riders will be on track, along with Berwick’s Dany Gappmaier, and have been split into teams led by Monarchs stars Sam Masters and Richie Worrall.

Restricted tickets are being sold by ballot, and the club’s live stream will once again be available from EMTV.

Masters is targeting a strong season and said: “We need some silverware, that’s what I think! Every time I’ve been at Edinburgh for the full year, we’ve made the play-offs.

“My bikes are ready, I’ve done a little bit more to them. I went over them in the winter, and they are pretty good. I’ve got one new engine for the UK, the other ones are going quite good so I didn’t need to change.”
