PREVIEW: PETER CRAVEN MEMORIAL, BELLE VUE

BELLE Vue open their season with the staging of their annual Individual classic, the Peter Craven Memorial tonight (Monday, 7pm).

The Aces have once again attracted a top-class field for the event and it will feature Jason Doyle defending his title with the likes of Dan Bewley, Fredrik Lindgren, Robert Lambert, Max Fricke and Maciej Janowski also amongst the favourites.

There is also a first for the competition with the inclusion of Workington’s Celina Liebmann, the first female racer to take part.

Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “Over the years, we’ve been proud to witness how the Peter Craven Memorial has evolved into such a prestigious event as to attract some of the best riders in the world to race it.

“It’s fantastic to feature all our current Belle Vue Aces, which supporters would naturally expect, and I strongly believe each one of them has plenty to contribute to the evening.

“This line-up is one of the best we’ve ever had at the National Speedway Stadium and ticket sales so far certainly speak volumes to that, and we hope everyone is as excited as we are.”

LINE-UP: Connor Bailey, Norick Blodorn, Ben Cook, Jaimon Lidsey, Max Fricke, Connor Mountain, Celina Liebmann, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Patryk Wojdylo, Maciej Janowski, Fredrik Lindgren, Brady Kurtz, Robert Lambert, Jason Doyle, Dan Bewley, Chris Harris. Reserves: Sam Hagon, Freddy Hodder.
Referee: Craig Ackroyd
