PREVIEW: LADBROKES OLYMPIQUE, Wolverhampton

WOLVERHAMPTON’S final action of the season will feature a combination of past and present home favourites in tonight’s (Monday) Ladbrokes Olympique.

All seven of the 2021 team will be together for the last time, and they are joined by former Wolves riders Ricky Wells and Ty Proctor.

Peterborough’s Premiership winning duo Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris are both past winners of the event, and talented German teenager Norick Blodorn will also make his first appearance at Monmore.

Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “It’s going to be a fun way to bring the curtain down on what has been an entertaining season after a difficult start when we were only allowed a certain amount of fans.

“It’s also half term in the area and it’s a night out with a firework display which the family can come and enjoy.

“It would have been so easy when we went out of the play-offs to just pack up for the winter, but I want to put this on to show our appreciation to the supporters and offer one final night of racing before the winter properly sets in.

“The riders always enjoy it and it will be the last chance to see our 2021 team together before they go their separate ways.”

LINE-UP: Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Broc Nicol, Leon Flint, Ty Proctor, Chris Harris, Ricky Wells, Scott Nicholls, Norick Blodorn.
