PIRATES PLAN FOR SWINDON TEST

POOLE will be facing a powerful Swindon top three when they host a Robins Select team at Wimborne Road next Wednesday (May 10).

Former World Champion Jason Doyle had already been lined up to represent the homeless visitors, and boss Alun Rossiter has now added two more big-hitters in double title-winner Nick Morris and another former Robins racer, Justin Sedgmen.

Pirates promoter Dan Ford said: “Swindon will arrive here on May 10 with a strong heat-leader trio, that’s for sure as Sedgy and Nick join Jason Doyle as their top three.

“Rosco assured me he would build a competitive side when we agreed to the fixture and it is definitely looking that way as we seek to renew rivalry with one of our closest neighbours.”
