MAJOR EVENTS UPDATE

BRITISH Speedway Promoters’ Ltd can provide an update on the Major Events schedule this season.

We can confirm that the Championship League Riders’ Championship will take place as planned at Sheffield on Saturday September 12, with the start time now of 7pm.

Due to the need to rearrange Championship fixtures, it has unfortunately been necessary to make a change to the Championship Pairs at Poole, which was originally scheduled for Saturday August 8. We apologise to supporters for the inconvenience.

BSP Ltd are working with the Poole promotion on a new date which is hoped to be in early September and will be communicated as soon as possible.

The next Major Event is the British Final at Belle Vue on Saturday August 15 (7pm), with the line-up to be confirmed after this Sunday’s (July 19, 2pm) semi-final at Leicester.
