LAMBERT RIDES FOR HOWARTH

FORMER Sheffield man Simon Lambert is the third opposition rider confirmed for Kyle Howarth’s Testimonial at Owlerton next month (March 14).

The Lincolnshire born racer had a spell with the Steel City outfit in 2010/11 and will ride alongside Howarth in this year’s Cab Direct Championship at Scunthorpe.

Said Howarth: “Simon has always been a great team man and I’m looking forward to riding with him at Scunthorpe this season.

“Wherever he rides he always gives 100 per cent and the crowd love a rider like that.

“He knows the Sheffield track well and the fans always give him a good reception when he comes back.”
