HARRISON SUCCESS IN TORUN
SIX Great Britain youngsters spent the Speedway of Nations week in Poland to attend a training camp at Torun organised by the PZM.
Luke Harrison, Ben Trigger and Ace Pijper competed in the 500cc class, Cooper Rushen and Seth Norman were in the 250cc class, with Charlie Luckman in the 125cc class.
It was a full week of intense training both on and off track, which ended up with each class having a race meeting on the fifth day.
Harrison won the 500cc class, which involved 16 riders – and in doing so he became the first non-Polish rider ever to do so, winning himself a new Ashtec engine and a Malinek race suit for the 2025 season.
Trigger just missed out on a podium finish as he in ended up in fourth place, and Pijper was 12th.
In the 250cc class Rushen was second, finishing on the podium behind German rider Casper Gennerich, with Australian Beau Bailey in third.
Norman and Luckman both had great experiences, and both thoroughly enjoyed the experience of riding at the GP venue.
