GRAHAM MILES 1949-2025

IT is with great sadness that the World Speedway Riders’ Association announce the passing of Graham Miles at the age of 75.

Miles rode for Canterbury, West Ham and Hackney until a serious crash in 1971 confined him to wheelchair.

Despite that, he stayed upbeat becoming well-known on the comedy circuit and regularly attended Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund events.

In 2014, the ex-rider served as President of the WSRA before becoming a trustee of the charity attending many events over the years. 

Graham was a huge part of the WSRA. Everyone is shocked and deeply saddened by his passing.
