GLASGOW’S staging of their FIM World Championship Qualifier on tonight (Saturday) is now a complete sell-out.
The Tigers have reached their limited capacity for spectators on the night but are keen to stress the meeting will be fully live-streamed with passes available from tv.glasgowtigers.co.uk .
Co-promoter Alan Dick said: “Ticket sales have now completely gone. Obviously we are restricted by how many supporters we can admit under Scottish Government guidelines and protocols.
“It has been a mammoth task to make this happen, what with the earlier cancellation, restricted crowd limit, facilitating many riders’ entry into the UK, and satisfying all Government procedures for distancing measures and sanitisation etc.
“There are so many people to thank, I couldn’t even begin to compile a list.
“For those unable to attend due to the expiry of tickets, live-streaming of the meeting is available at a cost of £14.95.
“QTV, our streaming partners, will be on hand with top quality pictures, commentators, presenters and chat for what should be the highlight of the British speedway season so far.”
