GB TRIO GO THROUGH

GREAT Britain will have three riders in the FIM European Under-19 Final in Latvia later this season.

Drew Kemp, Leon Flint and Jordan Palin all qualified from Saturday’s meeting at Divisov – finishing second, third and fourth from an event where only the top five made it through.

The trio underlined GB’s rapidly increasing strength at this level with Kemp finishing runner-up on the day in the Czech Republic with 13 points, one behind meeting winner Bartlomiej Kowalski.

Flint recovered from a third place in his first ride to finish with 12, and was joined on that mark by Palin who had two wins and three second places, with Flint winning a run-off between them for bronze on the day.

There was also an encouraging showing from the far less experienced Nathan Ablitt, who scored six points.
