GB STAY IN MEDAL HUNT

GREAT Britain remain in silver medal position following the second round of the European 250cc Pairs Championship on Sunday.

GB finished third in the meeting at Slovenian venue Krsko with William Cairns and Cooper Rushen both scoring 13 points on the day, leaving them four points behind winners Poland and the second-placed hosts. Seth Norman was also part of the team but did not get to race.

The Poles will be expected to clinch the title in Prague on Tuesday, but GB have a one-point lead overall on Slovenia and three points on Denmark as they look to secure a medal.
