GB RUNNERS-UP IN PARDUBICE

ANDERS Rowe and Tom Brennan both scored double figures as Great Britain finished second in Sunday’s European Under-23 Team qualifier in the Czech Republic.

King’s Lynn racer Rowe kept up his impressive start to the season with 12 points from five rides whilst Brennan (Birmingham/Poole) carded ten from four.

With further contributions from Leon Flint (8), Ashton Boughen (3) and Jordan Jenkins (2), GB were a clear second ahead of France and Germany, but it was the host nation who progressed to the Final later this summer.

The Czech Republic scored 50 points out of a possible 60 on home territory at Pardubice with hot prospect Adam Bednar collecting a 15-point maximum.
