GB INTO EURO PAIRS FINAL

GREAT Britain are through to the European Pairs Final later this month after winning Saturday’s qualifier in Hungary.

Adam Ellis (14) dropped just one point from five rides at Debrecen and was given fine support by Chris Harris on his return to the international stage with seven from four – being involved in three maximum advantages – and by youngster Tom Brennan with six from three.

GB finished four points clear of Denmark with Slovakia a further two adrift, and they now progress to the Final in France on July 24.

Denmark also go through and join the hosts, Poland, Italy, Latvia and the Czech Republic in Macon.
