FLINT WINS AT REDCAR

LEON Flint took the honours as Stuart Robson’s much-delayed Farewell Meeting was finally completed at Redcar on Saturday.

Rain once again played a part in proceedings but the decision to bring the start time forward was fully justified, enabling the event to be completed before conditions worsened significantly.

Flint and Simon Lambert came through the semi-final, and then finished first and second in the Final ahead of Norick Blodorn in third place.

Chris Harris scored a 15-point maximum in the qualifiers but missed out from the outside gate in the decider.
