EXPERIENCE GAINED IN KRSKO

GREAT Britain’s inexperienced pair of Ollie Binns and Emerson Betty scored seven points in the final round of the European 250cc Pairs Championship in Krsko, Slovenia on Saturday.

The GB duo ended their night on a high with a heat advantage over Ukraine in their final race, and both reported that despite it being a tough night, they enjoyed the experience of riding in a European Final in front of a large, noisy crowd on a circuit that was out of their comfort zone, and they will learn from the experience.

Poland retained the title after previous wins in their home country and Denmark as they completed a maximum 36-point score overall, with Denmark edging out Germany for the silver medal after finishing second on the night in Slovenia.

Great Britain used four riders in the series – Binns, Betty, Seth Norman and Archie Rolph – and the Young Lions would like to thank the riders and their families for their efforts and commitment.
