EURO TEST FOR BRENNAN
IPSWICH and Great Britain star Tom Brennan has been handed a permanent Wild Card for the upcoming Speedway Euro Championship series.
Brennan, who made his debut in the competition as a replacement rider at Chorzow last September, is one of five selected riders to join the top finishers from last year and those who made it through the qualification process.
The SEC runs over four rounds, starting at Brennan’s home Polish track of Bydgoszcz on July 12, and the overall winner receives a place the 2026 Grand Prix series.
British Champion and World No.2 Robert Lambert is a former SEC champion from 2020, whilst both Dan Bewley and Adam Ellis have spent time in the series in recent years.
Brennan said: “I’m very happy to say I’ve been offered a SEC permanent Wild Card for the 2025 series.
“This is a massive opportunity that wouldn’t have been possible without everybody working behind the scenes and a part of the team, so I’m excited to get out there and give it 110 per cent.”
