DAVE DOWLING

BRITISH Speedway is saddened to hear of the passing of long-serving former SCB referee Dave Dowling.

Dave spent 27 years as a referee, starting in 1990, and was also secretary/treasurer of the Association of Speedway Referees for 20 years.

He also gave his time as mentor and provided support and training to newer referees.

Dave passed away on Monday evening and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
