DATE SET FOR WORRALL

FORMER British No.2 Steve Worrall will stage his Testimonial Meeting at Poole on Wednesday March 29 – and is planning a very special night at Wimborne Road.

Worrall, who made his league debut with Scunthorpe in 2010, will be back for a third season with the Pirates in the Championship this year, and is also staying with Wolverhampton in the Premiership.

He said: “I really can’t wait to reveal more about the meeting and the plans we’ve got. It’s going to be a very interesting night of speedway.

“I’m very grateful to Danny Ford and everyone at Poole for helping to make this possible and to everyone who has offered their help in one way or another.

“I really hope that everyone will enjoy the night. It’s the first meeting at Wimborne Road this season so I want to make sure we kick things off with a bang.”
