DANES JOIN BLUE RIBAND FIELD

POOLE have added Danish duo Nicolai Klindt and Jonas Jeppesen to the line-up for the Blue Riband at Wimborne Road on September 24.

Klindt was a member of the Pirates’ Premiership title-winning side of 2018 whilst Jeppesen has performed well since joining their rivals Berwick in the Cab Direct Championship.

All seven regular Poole riders will also compete in the event as they look to keep sharp at home ahead of possible Finals later in the autumn.

Promoter Dan Ford said: “We pledged to make this season’s Blue Riband as competitive as possible, and both Nicolai and Jonas fit the bill perfectly.

“It will be a first appearance here for Jonas, whilst Nicolai has proven time and again that he can score well here at Wimborne Road.”
