BUXTON ARE BACK!

BUXTON made a successful return to racing after nearly eight years away as a Wolves quartet won the Regina Chains Fours at the Hi-Edge Raceway.

Regular Bulls heat leader Alfie Bowtell scored a 12-point maximum, backed up by Jack Kingston on nine, as his side finished on 26 points, four clear of their nearest challengers.

Other high scorers on the day were Mickie Simpson with nine for the second-placed Kings, Simon Lambert with ten for the Potters in third, and Jack Smith also with ten for the home side.

Bowtell said: “It was good to get a maximum and the fastest time of the afternoon and to get Wolves victory on the day.

“The track rode pretty well with the weather conditions they have had to contend with up here and it had improved from press and practice.

“I’m looking forward to getting more race wins riding here for the Bulls during the season.”
