
BRITS TO RECEIVE SGP2 QUALIFIER PLACES
GLASGOW’S SGP2 (World Under-21) qualifying round will feature at least two British riders.
The meeting takes place at Ashfield on Saturday May 24 as competitors battle for places in the full three-round SGP2 series.
National allocations for the event have been confirmed which will see GB have two places at Glasgow, along with two reserves.
Meanwhile two further British Under-21 riders will look to qualify for SGP2 in the equivalent events on the same day in the Czech Republic (Pardubice) and Hungary (Debrecen), where one place each is allocated to GB.
Qualifiers for the SGP3 (Under-16, 250cc) competition also take place on May 24, and GB will have two representatives at Krsko in Slovenia.
Elsewhere, the GB youngsters will also be contesting the following events in 2025:
FIM European Under-19 Qualifiers: Pardubice, Czech Republic (April 19) – 1 place ; Zarnovica, Slovakia (May 3) – 2 places. (Final at Grudziadz, Poland on August 23.)
FIM European 250cc Qualifier: Kumla, Sweden (Sept 6) – 3 places. (Final at Kumla on Sept 7.)
FIM European Under-19 Pairs: Plzen, Czech Republic (Sept 6)
FIM European 250cc Pairs: 3 rounds – Grudziadz, Poland (June 24); Randers, Denmark (Aug 16); Krsko, Slovenia (Sept 20).
