BRITS MISS OUT IN PLZEN
BRITISH youngsters Dan Thompson and Jake Mulford both scored eight points in Saturday’s European Under-19 qualifier at Plzen.
Thompson secured a race win over highly-rated Polish rider Oskar Paluch, whilst Mulford put in a consistent display with four second places.
The duo finished eighth and ninth respectively in a quality field, whilst British Under-21 Champion Leon Flint struggled for set-ups on borrowed equipment and finished eleventh on six points.
The meeting was won by another Pole, Wiktor Przyjemski, whilst the qualifiers for the Final included Belle Vue’s Norick Blodorn.
