BEWLEY RIDES FOR DOUGY

TREBLE British Champion Dan Bewley is set to be one of the headline attractions in the Ryan Douglas Testimonial Meeting at Leicester.

The Belle Vue star, who also swept to glory in the British Grand Prix for the second time last year, joins an all-star line-up for the first event of the season at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park on Saturday March 22 (4pm).

Douglas has also added King’s Lynn favourite Niels-Kristian Iversen to the line-up, with the two riders racing in each other’s Testimonials on successive Sundays next month.
He said: “Dan’s progress in the sport is quite remarkable. He’ll be keen to put in a good performance, especially with other GP stars in the line-up.

“I’m delighted to have Niels riding in my meeting. He’s a rider with a lot of experience who is still performing strongly. I’m sure he’ll put in a good performance.”
