ALLOCATIONS ANNOUNCED FOR FIM/FIME EVENTS

GREAT Britain will select four riders to compete in the qualifying rounds for the SGP2 (World Under-21) series this season.

There will be two GB representatives in the meeting at Fjelsted, Denmark on June 27, along with one each at Krsko (Slovenia) and Pardubice (Czech Rep.) on the same day.

Last season both Dan Thompson and Jake Mulford competed in the SGP2 series. GB will also be competing in the FIM Speedway of Nations 2 at Prague on May 22.

Pardubice will be staging the SGP3 qualifiers on June 13, with three GB riders involved as they look to book places in the Final at Wroclaw, and one GB rider will compete in the SGP4 Final at Malilla, Sweden on June 11.

At Under-19 level, GB will have two riders in Plzen (Czech Rep.) and one in Debrecen (Hungary) on June 20 for the European Under-19 Qualifiers, and two GB riders will contest the European 250cc Qualifier at Zarnovica (Slovakia) on August 1.

The FIM and FIME 125cc Gold Trophy and Track Racing Cup comes to Workington on August 8/9, with GB allocated two places and two reserve spots in each event.

Meanwhile the Women’s Gold Trophy and World Cup takes place at Gorican (Croatia) on July 4, and GB will have one 500cc rider and one 250cc rider involved.
