WOLVES EYE PAIRS TITLE BID

WOLVERHAMPTON star Steve Worrall believes his combination with Sam Masters gives the Monmore side a good chance in tonight’s (Thursday) Premiership Pairs.

The duo head to Leicester in fine form after a host of 5-1s together this season, and both riders scored paid maximums in Monday’s huge home win over King’s Lynn.

Worrall said: “Off the back of this successful run we’re on at the minute, we’re going into it feeling pretty confident.

“I feel like we’re one of the best pairings, or best partnerships, going into the meeting and I think the stats would probably back that up.

“Leicester is a track me and Sam both enjoy riding so it would be really good at this point of the year to get Wolves some silverware.”
