U21 UPDATE: KILLEEN RULED OUT

SHEFFIELD and Oxford racer Luke Killen has withdrawn from this Sunday’s British Under-21 Final at Redcar.

Killeen suffered rib injuries in a crash at Cowley last month and further aggravated the problem at Belle Vue on Bank Holiday Monday, and has since missed fixtures for both of his clubs in recent days.

He said: “I’m absolutely gutted to miss out again, having had to withdraw from the SON2 last month and now missing my last chance at the British Under-21 Final.

“I am working hard to get fit for my clubs, and also I have an SGP2 Qualifier later this month which is a big goal for me now this season.”

Leicester Lion Cubs youngster Seth Norman is now promoted into the British Under-21 Final, with Stene Pijper taking over as first reserve and Lee Harrison will now be at No.18.
