LEMON: NSS THE PERFECT VENUE

BELLE Vue CEO Mark Lemon has hailed the Manchester venue as the perfect location for the Sports Insure British Final.

The event has been staged at the National Speedway Stadium since the opening of the stadium 2016, and Aces No.1 Dan Bewley will defend his title on Monday with the Wild Card spot for next month’s British Grand Prix also up for grabs.

Lemon said: “Each time I arrive to work at this stadium I must pinch myself because it truly is an honour to be involved at such a fantastic venue here in Manchester, and for the club to host the British Final.

“Belle Vue supporters are all too aware of how spoilt we are each week that we arrive to watch some of the most exciting racing in the Premiership and in the National League.

“The track and stadium are the envy of speedway tracks up and down the country and all round the world.

“Every year, the British Final produces some of the most exciting racing as 16 riders go head-to-head in pursuit of the British crown, and every year it always produces brilliant action.”
