Report

CAB Direct KO Cup holders Scunthorpe charged into the semi-finals of the 2024 competition with a massive 63-27 home win over Berwick.

The Scorpions faced a tough challenge on paper at the Eddie Wright Raceway as they had to pull back an 18-point first leg deficit, but they had wiped out that margin in the space of just eight races.

Scorpions then went on to effectively secure progression with two races remaining thanks to an outstanding all-round team performance.

Kyle Howarth led the scoring with 12+1, with Connor Mountain (11+2) and Jake Allen (10+1) also in double figures, whilst reserve Nathan Ablitt picked up 9+1. Rory Schlein scored 10 for the disappointed Bandits.
