Report

JASON Doyle turned back the clock with a 15-point maximum in Swindon colours as the Robins Select won a challenge at Poole 48-42.

Doyle, who led the former Blunsdon club to top-flight titles in 2017 and 2019, reeled off five straight race wins, and another Robins title-winner Nick Morris added 11+1 with wins in his first three rides.
The duo combined for a 5-1 in Heat 15 to secure victory at the expense of Richard Lawson (9+1) and Keynan Rew.

Poole boss Neil Middleditch said: “I told Rosco (Alun Rossiter) that next time I am going to draft in one of the Holders!

“I never like to lose to Rosco but he assembled a good team and nobody had an answer to Doyley tonight. He’s in tip-top form at the moment, and then there was Mozza who showed his liking for the place.

“Our boys did well, they were ten points down at one stage and we got it back to two and just lost it towards the end. So all in all they can feel happy with their night’s work.”
