LEICESTER sealed a top-three finish in the Championship with a 52-38 win over Kent at the Paul Chapman & Sons Arena.
The result means Redcar and Edinburgh are confirmed in fourth and fifth and will meet in the play-off quarter-finals, whilst the Lions could still overhaul second placed Glasgow.
Skipper Kyle Howarth top-scored for the home side with 10+3, and Nick Morris added 10+1, whilst Troy Batchelor picked up 13 for the visitors.
Leicester boss Stewart Dickson said: “It was solid. One or two guys have set very high standards over the last few weeks and they didn’t quite get out there tonight, but other guys did step up in their place.
“Special mention to the twins and Kyle Howarth tonight. The captain did a great performance.”
