BIRMINGHAM SPEEDWWAY STATEMENT
BIRMINGHAM have been forced to cancel their planned season opener against Coventry Bees Select tonight (Wednesday, April 12).
Club co-promoter Laurence Rogers said: “Despite there being a lot of rain in the region over the past 48-hours, the track was drying out really nicely.
“But another heavy downpour at 11.30am, mixed with the fact the forecast has worsened quite dramatically, left us with no option but to postpone the meeting.”
