BERWICK moved five points clear at the top of the National Development League with a 52-38 win over Kent at Shielfield Park.
The Bullets signed off their home programme with captain Kyle Bickley scoring a paid maximum (14+1) whilst fellow heat-leader Greg Blair added 12+1.
The Royals brought in Ben Morley to guest for Ryan Kinsley following the theft of his equipment, and he top-scored with 11 from six rides.
It was their first defeat in their third official meeting, and they are 11 points behind the Bullets with five matches in hand.
