Oxford Chargers v Leicester Lion Cubs

OXFORD Chargers inflicted the first WSRA National Development League defeat of the season on Leicester Lion Cubs with a 47-43 victory at Cowley.

Home captain Jody Scott completed a 15-point maximum in Heat 15 with Darryl Ritchings in third place to seal the result for the Chargers.

The Lion Cubs did take the aggregate point, but they have now lost their 100 per cent record with league leaders Edinburgh now the only team to boast that record.

Freddy Hodder top scored for the visitors with 15 points from six rides as they operated rider replacement for Max Perry who had withdrawn following his Championship match for Workington on Saturday.
