Edinburgh Academy v King’s Lynn Young Stars

EDINBURGH maintained their 100 per cent record in the WSRA National Development League with a 55-35 win over King’s Lynn at Armadale.

The Young Stars had an outstanding guest at No.1 in Ben Morley (14), who won his first four rides before being beaten by Jordy Loftus in Heat 15.

But the Monarchs Academy put in another strong team display with Loftus scoring 13, reserve Ben Whalley notched 12+1 and James Shanes picked up 10 despite a fall in his second ride.

Edinburgh boss Scott Wilson said: “Tonight was another pleasing night. Once again the whole team chipped in on the scorechart and we have kept our momentum rolling.

“I expect it was an enjoyable meeting for the fans with a good home win and some entertaining action on track, as we always get in the Academy meetings.”
