Buxton Bulls v Leicester Lion Cubs

EICESTER Lion Cubs raced to a 49-41 win at Buxton in the first leg of their NDL Challenge at the Hi-Edge Raceway.

Youngster Ryan Ingram was hugely impressive for the visitors with wins in his first four rides as he scored 12 points and also recorded the fastest time since the sport returned to the Derbyshire venue this season.

Skipper Ben Morley added nine for the visitors, whilst Alfie Bowtell led the way for the Bulls with 15+1 from six rides, and Arran Butcher collected 10+2.

Ingram said: “I’m really pleased with today. I was a bit gutted to miss out on the maximum in my last heat, but I can’t complain.

“It was a good away win for the team and awesome to get the track record in Heat 3.”
