KENT moved above Birmingham into second place in the National Development Trophy table with a 54-35 win over the Bulls at Iwade. (RESULT AMENDED TO 39-35)

A comfortable victory saw the Eagles also take the aggregate point, and their guest at No.1 Cooper Rushen shattered the track record in Heat 1.

Rushen was over a second quicker than the previous mark set by Jody Scott as both he (15+2) and Ben Morley (16+1) scored paid-17, dropping their only point to an opponent in Heat 13.

That came at the expense of the hugely impressive Bulls guest at reserve, Ryan Ingram, who scored 18 points from seven rides.

Eagles manager David Graveling said: “What a great way to end our home season with a convincing win.

“Our thanks go out to Cooper and Kenzie (Cossey) for guesting and to the other riders on show today.

“It was a nice gesture that fans stayed to hear the riders’ thoughts on our last home team meeting of 2025.”
